The VeganMed Foundation (VMF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded by VeganMed, Inc., a leader in medication safety and transparency. VMF advocates for clear labeling of medication ingredients because everyone deserves to know what is in their medications. It can be a matter of life and death.
Education
Your contribution will support two pharmacists managing a free medical information center and maintain a constantly curated database of 5,000 medications and supplements.
Advocacy
Your donations will unite pharmacies, hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies to enhance patient care. We will also continue efforts to collaborate with the FDA, CDC, and other regulatory bodies about ingredient transparency.
Research
Your support will help generate new knowledge for patients with Alpha-gal Syndrome and other food allergies. We have conducted 8 research projects with publications that have garnered news media attention—contact us, and we can send you a report.

Unanswered FDA Citizen Petition
In July 2023, VeganMed filed a Citizen Petition with the FDA to improve transparency in medication labeling. The FDA has yet to respond, delaying progress and putting patients with dietary restrictions at risk. We remain committed to advocating for change and protecting patient safety.
